Integrated Amp Mid Range Control

In the last few months I have been using and loving a Sansui AU-G99X integrated amp. It has a midrange control which I have really gotten attached to. So now I'm looking for another integrated amp from another manufacturer and I want that midrange control. Well, I can't believe it, there seems to be very few made with this nice extra tome feature. Why is that and do ya'll know of some nice units that have this that I can look at?

Well, it seems to me....that if you roll off the lows and the highs.......you have done the same thing as emphasizing the midrange? (I have to admit that my Marantz preamp has a midrange "tone control". Other than a twist on it on day one to see if it worked, it stays in the flat position.)
 
mid range

I have a bunch of different speakers hooked to my amp, so its really nice that I only have to mess with that one control to adjust the sound between banks of speakers.
