How's it going AK?
I'm a noob to vintage audio systems and am in the midst of building my first system. I've searched the forums and Google and haven't really come across any answers to quandary. My first piece of equipment was a one owner Marantz 2230 in great condition. I had it inspected, cleaned, serviced and LED upgraded by a pro and I love it! I then acquired a Sansui 881 and Pioneer CT- F9191 cassette deck which have also been thoroughly gone through, cleaned and refurbished. The Sansui 881 was recapped and sounds amazing! My problem now is that I'm in love with both receivers and don't want to part we either of them and I don't have space in my apartment for two separate systems. I had considered using the 2230 for phono and the 881 for CD/Tape/Aux. I was curious if there was any way to integrate them both into one cohesive unit instead of running them separately for different functions. I have a pair of original Large Advents, Cerwin Vega Dx-3's and I just recently acquired a pair of Infinity CS-3008's which I know to be bi-ampable. Is there a possible solution there with the Infinity's? Any ideas, recommendations, suggestions, etc. would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks
