Are you just discovering sparton radios?..if so you don't want to google because you might find something like below, that is going cheap at the moment may step up to 4 grand by the end.

This is one that i am working on, mine is black n white. I am hoping to go dig around the estate sale to find the face, I have all the rest but the face was missing.

My mom collects cobalt blue glass, I'd love to stumble across one of those blue Spartons at a garage sale...

Finding one with nice original glass is VERY hard...that "sled" will go for large $$$. I had a chance a few months back to view a "Nocturne" console like the one cooljjay posted in the Industrial Design exhibit at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts...absolutely stunning in person! They also had an all-chrome portable record player on exhibit as well...wish i would've snapped a pic! Never have seen anything like it.
