Interesting pair of 12AT7's

I just picked up these 12AT7's and they're a bit of a peculiarity to me. I've never seen this sort of envelope shape before. It also has two support plates that run through the plate and up to the halo getter. It's labeled as a Telefunken 12AT7 with "42046" printed on the side. The bottom does not have an etched diamond but does have "U 22" printed on one and "U 26" printed on the other. Any ideas?

Probably real, a lot of Teles were used in very early computers, & got marked with paint like that. Notice I said "probably", so don't sue me if they're actually fake. ;)

I'd buy those as being real. The red tip is one of the ways hand picked tubes were marked for special applications. I got some Tele 12AX7's marked the same way out of some EEG amplifiers needing very low noise tubes....

I understand them as being real. I'm just wondering if they're TFK's. Some TFK's are relabeled Siemens or RFT's. The strange envelope shape, no etched diamond on the bottom and the strange getter supports are what throw me.

Oh yeah, medical equipment was another place they marked the tubes like that. They wanted the "best" & generally had the cash for it.
