Interesting pressing of a RCA Living Stereo release.

Just came across this unusual pressing of a RCA Living Stereo release of Brahms Concerto No. 1 LSC-2274. Unlike most of the LSC releases this is on an old German label marked product of Teldec-Telefunken Decca label. I was trying to add it to my Discogs collection and even the German releases didn't have this label. Anyone have any info on it?

Most all of the LSC's I have ever seen are shaded dog labeled.

Telefunken
Profile:
German label
Label Code: LC 0366 / LC 00366
The history of this German label dates back to shellac times.
Attention: In 1974 the cat# system changed to an x.xxxxx or xx.xxxxx format. To help determine accurate release dates, releases after 1974 have a dot after the second digit.
In 1976 label codes were introduced. The label codes can therefore be used to identify the releases correct ℗&© date.
If there is any code after the cat#, this should be denoted too.

Through the 1930s until the early 1950s Telefunkenplatte G.m.b.H. was the parent company, but hardly ever appeared on releases. The successor is the wellknown TELDEC »Telefunken-Decca« Schallplatten GmbH since 1950 until 1983, when this Decca/Telefunken fusion split up. The new company was TELDEC Schallplatten GmbH. At this point, the Telefunken label began to be replaced by the new TELDEC label.

Telefunken was the former parent label of Das Alte Werk

Thanks Dan for the info and yes I am well aware of the Telefunken label as I have quite a few of them along with the Teldec, and early Decca Labels that look the same as this one. My interest was that it is the first time that I have seen a RCA Living Stereo on one of these labels.

I know I was hoping it would provide more search names and also the link to the discogs page of the catalogue titles under those labels.

You can randomly click on other titles of similar and date look at the images and see if you can find info on that specific printed label under another title.

I have this RCA record with the same Teldec -Telefunken - Decca label but its an earlier mono Red Seal RCA, not the Living Stereo. I guess when the first couple of Living Stereo's came out at the plant that was pressing for RCA used one of the old style labels.
