A possibly-interesting EQ at shopgoodwill.com...

I don't know what an SE-9 is, but it looks to be from a period before Sansui went all crappy. ????. Anyone familiar with this? What era are we talking? Is this a quality item?

People looking for an EQ for subwoofer duty, this might be just the ticket.

EDIT: It is only 8 band EQ... Not enough for subwoofer.

SE-9 is a very nice early 80s EQ/spectrum analyzer/pink noise generator. It has motorized, programmable EQ presets, which is kinda cool. Would be a great deal but the mic looks like it might be missing.

Some Sansui collector needs to jump on this. That unit looks way to nice to use with an Ipod or a computer sound system.

I just noticed in the auction photo. Looks like someone might have added some red paint to the sliders.

By itself it's a pretty good EQ. But beware the motors in the auto function can fail and also if you want to use the spectrum analyzer/pink noise, you will need to get a battery powered condenser mic. And having the manual will make figuring things out helps.

Hello,

Does anybody has a pdf or scanned copy of SE-9 Equalizer?
Any info will be appreciated.
Thanks much
