I bought a Marantz 7T on E-Bay for $175.00+ shipping. Excellent condition in box. The seller contacted me and just as I was activating the BIN he was going to raise the price as he listed it low. I wrote back indicating that if he feels that badly about it that I would pass on the purchase, but if not I'd purchase the preamp (like I need another preamp). Apparently these preamps sound quite nice and compared to the 7C (tube model) some people like them better.

That's a really decent price. These go for closer to $250 in very good condition. Always liked these coupled with the Model 15 or 16b power amps.
 
Well the owner decided to sell the unit to me. I'll post a review once i receive it. Anyone compare tese units to the ss McIntosh preamps ect?
