5500 watt receiver, huh? He must have mistakenly added a "0" to the end of the 550 watts from current draw on the back! Still, a nice system overall as that Concept receiver was the top unit the year it was out. Nice sounding.

I emailed him and he says everything is in working order except the tape deck. It will not FF or rewind. I am going to pass on this one just because I don't quite have the spare room for all that stuff although I would really like to.

Hmmm, maybe. All I was really loking at was the amp and speakers. I wonder if the wife would get made with just those?
