General question here on A/V type amps, as I am working on my first project. While the scope of the components inside is what I expected, the access to the rear of the unit has me scratching my head. In this pic (Denon unit), I need to trace the ribbon cable shown with the red oval and access components. It disappears below the top PCB board.
Removing the scads of screws that attach the outputs (HDMI, channel outputs, etc) to the rear panel sure seem daunting, and would be one way of peeking behind the curtain and would not seem to address the speaker connections.
The other option of trying to remove the smaller count of screws, etc that support that top PCB, which "might" allow me to tip that whole back metal panel (with PCB) down and away for access.
How have others approached this access challenge?
