Introduction from East Tennessee

Hi folks,

Long time lurker, subscriber as of this Spring. Happy to have access to a community so wealthy in knowledge and grace towards each other. Joining in from Knoxville, Tennessee as I get deeper and deeper into the nitty gritty of what makes things sound so good.
I'm big into the vintage side of things, probably a bent harkening to my hobby with old MGs and Porsches. I'm guilty of being an accumulator - currently keeping a fair stack of Kenwood, Sansui and Pioneer gear in an auxiliary room, though it's all set up and gets used regularly. My living room setup is a mixture of vintage sources and modern Wharfedale - will be jumping into some technical questions soon about bi-amping.

Thanks for having me!

Welcome aboard neighbor. I've been here since 2010 but only started posting yesterday (Introduction). East Tenn is on my mind especially now since my Gamecocks will invade Neyland this weekend. It's a great chance for Vol revenge from last November. We also have British cars and Porsche in common. My forum tag is ahenthus for Austin Healey enthusiast. I've used it for almost 30 years beginning with a Healey forum. My present two healeys are a 56 100 and a Bugeye. I've never had a roll up window Healey. My Porsche side is an air cooled 930. Most of my audio is also vintage.

Welcome, Everett! I’m a native of Maryville myself, currently living in Brooklyn but contemplating a move home when I’m able to retire in a few years.

Welcome, Ev to the AK Crew.

Glad to hear that
you've upped yer
status from being a
lurker.

Mentioned some

With your background
being an "accumulator",
