Is anyone familiar with the ION dual cassette deck which allows data transfer from cassette to USB port of PC's? Seems like a convenient idea but I have to think you're giving up sound quality in this type of transfer and, thus, file degradation. Can anyone describe to the uninitiated how the process functions and thus, the pluses and minuses. I need to do tape to tape dubbing and also would like to transfer data from cassette tape to minidisc. Thanks for any info.
