Is Discogs down?

I've been trying to set up an account for two days on Discogs with no luck.

- I have to keep clearing the cookies from my computer (Mac) in order to access the site.
- The activation link sends me to a page that does not exist.
- Says my password is wrong (which it is not)
- Unable to reset my password - sends me to a blank page

Nice website.

Anyone else having issues or is it just me?

It was running slow as molasses maybe 4 days ago? Since then I've made a few sales, so the site is definitely not down.

I'd send their customer service an email.
 
No problems here either and I'm on a Mac too. What browser are you using? I'm on Safari.

I've used both Safari and Chrome. It's almost like a bad dream - no matter what I do I either get blank pages, "page not found" or error messages that won't let me fix what I'm doing.

Then if I try to re-register I can't because it says my email is already being used.

I sent an email - we'll see if they respond.

I'm soo fed up with Discogs. What on earth do they do with our seller fee's? The search function on there is soo out of whack, just seems worse now. Have you tried adding new submissions lately? They tell you that an artist is not in the database when they clearly are. I don't know how many times I have to enter catalog numbers certain different ways only to no avail... then when i enter release name title/artist it comes up with the catalog number the exact way I was typing it. At least I'm still selling here and there but the fee's are getting crazy also...ugh.

Thanks for the feedback - at least I know it isn't me. This looks like a great site to catalog my records and CDs (and from the positive reviews from other AKers) but I am not so sure now if I can't simply register. I shall wait this out and see what happens.

I don't know what "crazy fees" you're referring to, have you seen eBay? Discogs is more than reasonable.

I've never had any trouble with entering or editing submissions, and it's a great website for organizing your collection. I've never had a bad purchase or a bad sale there.
 
So I've given up on Discogs - still unable to log-in or register to become a user after several days of trying.

I hit the link to send me an activation code, I get the email and click on that link and it takes me to "page not found"

I try logging in with my user name and password and it says my password is invalid. I try and re-set my password and site redirects me to a blank page.

And I cannot start over and re-signup because the site says my email is already in use.

I sent an email request for help a few days back and no reply.

I know a lot of folks on AK like this site and have nothing but good to say but it's turned out to be a piece of poo for me.

I'm running a Mac and have tried accessing the site thru Chrome and Safari - multiple clearing of cookies, etc.

I shall go elsewhere. Thanks for the feedback though - appreciate the efforts.
