Is it worth asking price?

Have a chance to buy the following:
Two Dynaco Pat-4A
One Dynaco stereo 150
Six Dynaco stereo 120
One Dynaco stereo 80
all for about $140. Condition unknown (assuming everything's OK).
Not that I really need all that amplification, but it's a chance anyway.

Also available (from the same guy)
4x Jensen woofers P15-LF
Two 8” Jensen upper base (???)
One University Cobreflex horn

Are they any good (valuable)?
:scratch2:

Well..i guess it depends on if Dynaco SS is your thing. To me, two Pat-4s are two too many. I had an ST-150 that I liked a lot, but it was paired with a tube preamp that sort of balanced out it's tendency to sound 'crisp'. Very good synergy there. I've never head the others, but for all that gear it doesn't seem to be a bad price. That said, you can only listen to so much at one time, so if you can't put one very good system together out of all of it, then perhaps it's not worth it in the end.

if the stuff is not trashed, i think you would do good; especially if you can get the speakers thrown in at a nice price. getting stuff for 10 or 20 dollars is great, but that doesn't preclude the 100+ dollars stuff from being worth it on occasion. dynaco stuff in good condition is good stuff.

Perhaps some really nice gear for a rock band looking to set up a powerful PA on a budget?

I would wait for something you want. Too often we buy something because it is cheap, and then don't have the money for something good, or something you need. :thmbsp:

I thought so.
The only thing I may be interested in is Dynaco 150 amp.
Didn't they have a version with VU meters and wooden sides?
I like meters!
