is peerless tweeter from Polk Monitor 7A same tweeter as used on Polk Monitor 10A?

I think I have a bad tweeter on one of my Polk Monitor 10A speakers and need to replace it. I have a pair of Polk Monitor 7A speakers which I do not use and those also have the peerless tweeter. Is the tweeter on the Monitor 7A the same as on the Monitor 10A so I can replace it with that one? is the Monitor 7A peerless tweeter the same size and exact tweeter as used on the Monitor 10As?

I'm pretty sure that all the Peerless tweeters that Polk used are the same. I have swapped them from different speakers in the monitor line and not seen any differences or had problems.

Just swap both from the 7As to make things even. Mean time look for some decent replacements for the broken one don't want good Polk speakers, used often or not, staying incomplete. Maybe try to find a clapped out pair of a similar model speaker set only with blown woofers and working tweeters. Or just find the tweeters on E-bay. Cheap shipping and usually not stupidly expensive.

7A's (any 7 in general) are the best balanced sounding speakers.
That's why 7's are better liked than 10's.
Many think 10's sound bloated/bass heavy that's not as accurate as 7's.
You can listen yourself and decide.

Yes, peerless tweeters with a small hole in the middle are swappable.

they will have a different part number on them most likely, but they are basically the same tweeter.
