Is the Adcom GFA-535 amplifier able to be bridged?

I am able to get a pair of Adcom GFA-535 amps and Adcom GTP-400 pre-amp, and am wondering if the Adcom amplifiers are able to be bridged. I will be powering a pair of Polk SDA 1C. I'd just like to try using some more power with them. Are these amps able to be bridged? Would I have a problem using an amp for each speaker since the SDAs use an interconnect cable?

No, the only Adcom amp than can be bridged is the GFA-555.

There is an Adcom model 2535 which is essentially TWO 535s in one box, set up so that you can have either (4) 60 watt channels or bridge to have (2) 60s and one high-powered channel ( think it's 180 or 200 watt).

I wonder if, working with a 2535 schematic, it might be possible to see how the connections are made in order to mod the pair that you have. Maybe an AK'er or DIY'er has already done that.

Are your speakers able to be bi-amped? That might make all this moot.
