Is the Hana SL Mono Cartridge a True Mono Cart?

My Second tonearm setup is almost ready. Its main use will be to mount a Mono cartridge and I am checking different options, one that has been growing on me based on the great reviews of its Stereo sibling is the Hana SL Mono and although there are a few good reviews for it, I have not found a single mention or comment about it being a "true mono", meaning that the coils are not realigned perpendicular to the horizontal axis but instead, the channels are summed internally (ala Y cable or just strapped).
Anyone have more information or insights into how is it built?
