Is this a Dual 1019 spindle?

My previous Dual 1019 came with a spindle that looked like this one:

I just bought a spindle for my 'new' 1019 that looks different, yet fits perfectly. Did Dual revise the design at some point or is this from a different model?

What surprised me was just how close to the same all the Dual spindles look, yet all mine were NOT interchangeable!

Hey, it's not a model T. What do those inept Germans know about interchangeable parts? Seriously, I'm sure there's a good reason. Those old Duals are beyond cool and ridiculously undervalued. I love my 1019s.

Having had a 1019 and foolishly parting with it in the 80s for a 1249, then leaving vinyl for a while, i have now accumulated 3 1019s (2 in fine working condition and 1 a couple of hours of tlc away) I'm sold on the design and the sound. You can't go wrong with these. Sweet with better Sure carts. Wish i still had my v15 IV from.my youth.

One of my 1019s sounds as good as a "real" turntable. The other one... well not so good.
