Is This A Good Deal? Loewe Opta - Fonovox

Hey Guys,
I found this Loewe Opta Fonovox online for $250 and was wondering if it's worth it.
It seems like a good deal since all the research I've done has told me that it's rare. It was originally $400, is this a good deal?

FYI, everything is in working condition with crisp sound.

that sure looks like a Grundig receiver. I had one and really liked the sound. I did not recap it and it blew up after a month of listening. Count on a complete recap if you are going to use it.

It is an old console stereo. Well used. It will need maintenance and a couple tubes if not most.

I wouldnt go higher than $125.
There are no parts in that console to be used separately or that will sell separately.

You've got to want one of those. They are cool looking though.

If I needed/wanted that particular unit I'd pay $250 without too much trouble.

Thanks for the weighing in guys, still up in the air, my gut tells me to grab it, but my wallet says wait a bit. haha @resound I think you may be right as I don't want it to crap out and then I'm in for more then I can handle.
