Is this a good option as front speakers for my old Kenwood receiver?

I'm new to the forum, and this is my first post. I have a Kenwood VR-616 Audio Video Surround Stereo Receiver w/Digital DTS that I purchased some time ago without its original speakers or subwoofer. I have tested the system with two Kenwood front speakers from another system, and I like the sound of the receiver.

The manual for the receiver can be found here, while the information for connecting the speakers can be found on page 12 of the manual.

I am currently seeking to purchase a set of speakers for my Kenwood VR-616 so I can listen to audio in my garage, and a pair of Kenwood LS-F5 100-watt, 8-ohm speakers caught my attention for their design. I have attached images to my post so you can see them. Since the original set of speakers and subwoofer that go with the receiver are extremely hard to find, my goal is to eventually purchase a set of surround speakers and a center speaker to take full advantage of the system, but for the time being I am interested in a pair of front speakers so I can begin using the receiver.

As you can see, they seem to be in a fair enough condition, and I am hoping my Ridgid wet/dry vac could help fix them. Their price with delivery to my door is approximately USD 83.30. It's important to mention that I'm in Mexico, and the price may seem to be quite high for some of you, but there are not many options here and prices are much higher, and this set of speakers seems like a reasonable option to me.

My intention is to connect my Apple Airport Express to stream or my laptop using Breakway Audio Enhancer software to the Kenwood Audio Video Stereo Receiver as an amplifier so I can listen to music.

I would like to know if this Kenwood LS-F5 3-way, 3-speaker system could be a good option for connecting to my Kenwood VR-616 as a set of left and right front speakers.

I would appreciate receiving any feedback you could provide me on the speakers. Do you believe they could provide good value to my receiver so I could at least take some advantage of it instead of having it idly sitting around? If you have ever heard them in action, do they sound good? Should I forget about this set and consider looking at another brand/model you could recommend, and if so, what would your recommendation be?

All feedback is welcome and appreciated.

Thank you so much for all your replies!

Dont get caught up whether they say Kenwood or not. Kenwood is known to have made many great receivers, amps and tuners but are not considered one of the better speaker manufacturers. If they are really cheap give them a try, sometimes cheap speakers can surprise you.

Those speakers appear to be from an all-in-one shelf system, so I wouldn't expect much. I realize that you don't have access to a vast vintage audio market like some of us do, but I think you can do better. Also, as @petes'picks mentions, you don't need to purchase Kenwood speakers, and in fact I also wouldn't recommend them as a speaker manufacturer. There are literally hundreds of better brands. Consider also purchasing new speakers from Amazon or Monoprice; they both have budget offerings that have gotten good reviews.

$83 delivered sounds like a good price for used try-them-out speakers!
As long as you don't expect too much, they could do ok for (I assume) $50 speakers.
Maybe even use them as placeholders until you get something that better suits your ears.
Like other folks say, you can do a lot better with other speakers.
