Is this a scam?

Selling a set of Pioneer CS-A31 speakers on CL and asking 80 bucks. Leave my number for text messages. This morning I get a text asking if it is still for sale, I reply YES.
Next text he is asking for my full name, mailing address and apartment number so he can send me a money order. Says he will provide an extra 50 bucks to hang onto them and not sell them.
Smells fishy to me. These are not some uber valuable speakers either.
I tried calling the text number, it's a NY number and goes into a voice message.
So what is the scam?

Yes, this is a typical Craigslist scam. Generally, if you bite, he sends you a fake money order, and things get more convoluted and unpleasant from there.

When it comes to CL if it sounds even remotely fishy then it probably is. I'm instantly suspicious of responses to my CL ads that are either generic such is "Is this item still for sale" (no specific mention of the item) means they can blast that response so any ad or responses that lift directly from my ad title or category in such a way that seems like it was done with a robot: "Do you still have video game for sale".

Definitely a scam. When I've sold a few things on CL, I always put in the ad, reply with your phone number or its regarded as spam. This usually weeds out most the scam, spam, crap. I never put my number out there. That's just me though.
