here is the story: during some downtime was browsing eBay just looking whatever local folks are selling (in 25 mile radius).
Item number ...whatever....titled "Speakers" with some dark crappy pictures.
However label was visible....quick google search and after short bidding I won them.
What are they? Coincident Partial Eclipse.
Two days later - an idea...let's see what else this seller has for sale. Speakers should usually be connected to some other gear, right?
Damn right!
"Buy it now" worked like a charm. Whent to pic "IT" up and since I've been at this house twice already and being the smart guy I am I asked if they have any more audio gear.
Sure they did!

So here is the list:
-Coincident Partial Eclipse
-Unico Primo hybrid integrated amplifier with optional phono stage
-Alchemist Nexus APD32A CD player.

Everything works. CD player has analog RCAs snapped (who would do that???) but digital out works and right now I'm listening to Deep Purple's "Now What?"

So how much did I spend?

That's a heck of a haul!

It seems nearly impossible to score any modern gear like this, so to you - :tresbon:
I wonder what the story is behind these pieces.
I think I'd call that score of the year:yes:
 
Wait until you find out what I paid for it.......
The story (as far as I know) - a young coule moving from a house which goes over a million (I guess) and they don't give a crap about this gear. Probably their parents...don't know, don't care.

Glad you got them!! How do the cabinets look?? It was hard to tell but they looked a bit dinged up to me.
 
Huh...that was you? Yeah, that's a payback for those Kenwoods all right.
Cabinets need some work but nothing horrible.
The most important thing - all the drivers work.
 
That is great!! I happened upon them a few hour after they were posted much like you searching local. Those retailed for close to $3000 from what I could tell. Did the owner even know what he had? ? Post up more picks so I can be jealous.:D:music:

Actually the owner repeated several times when I showed up for the amplifier "You know they are very expensive..."

Wow! Usually people who have REAL and modern gear like that KNOW what they have and what it is consequently worth. I'll take a stupid shot in the dark and say you got it all for $500.00 :dunno:
