ISO Marantz Receiver "Protector" Part

Hey All, I'm working on a 2250B Restoration and realized when reassembling after replacing the vellum, all the fuse lights and bulbs, that the front black bracket that goes in front of the dial was missing (called Protector in the SM). Looked through the 800+ parts on Ebay with no success. Anyone know where I can purchase one?

This may be it. One can be fashioned if you have the skills.

Yes, this is the exact part, but I don't have the time or skillset/ tooling to cut and bend metal to the exact dimentions required. I guess I will try a piece of stiff construction paper.

Don’t know anyone who has the skills to make one? It really is not that difficult and fancy tools aren’t necessary as it’s small.
If not, a simple cardboard cutout would work just fine.

Here's what it looks like mounted to the receiver if anyone is interested.
Are you sure the previous tech didn't attach it somewhere else where it shouldn't be?

Yeah, I've been all over this one with the rebuild and its nowhere to be found. The previous person to be on the inside did some weird and highly questionable (wrong) things as it is. It doesn't surprise me that he removed it and did not put it back!

Not a subscriber so unable to use Barter Town for looking I see.
Chances are someone may have the part there if asked.
