I started to send an e-mail last night, but the ad was 2 hours old before I saw it.. I knew better.. I've sent too many e-mails within 5 minutes in this area and it was even picked up already... I think the CL scavengers in this area are worse than stringers as far as being everywhere and seeing it all..

Hello. Getting rid of some old audio in my grandparents house and listing it for them. A Pioneer receiver SX1980. It's HUGE. I'm Glad they have ipods now and can take it to my school. 

Comes in the box and has operating instructions. It plugs in and lights up. No further testing was done. $250 cash only please.

Just too many things with this. The ipod reference,ridiculous price,original box and manual. Item never existed but someones getting a kick out of this thread and seeing how many replys they can get off putting 2K plus item on CL for 250.00

I thought it was too good to be true based on the price, but the Ipod reference gave me hope that maybe he didn't know what he had. I sent two emails - no replies. Bummer. Or, maybe some lucky dude saw it sooner and is busy right now blowing air in it and Deoxing it .... I wish I was that lucky dude. I still feel like someday one of these things will fall into my lap from some unsuspecting rube ...:tears:
