Add these not quite ready autonomous vehicles and it gets silly. I just have to start backing hopefully they move. Then they try running over the hose. Or get stuck in between truck and curb. Or sit there and stare for awhile. Then take off back from where they came from.
They also get into standoffs with one another. Stopped in the middle of sidewalks usually. Seems simple to go around each other but no. Students attempt to get them moving again but rarely works. I think They end up being taken over remotely.
The good news is the originals are gone because they originated from a Russian company. The bad news is they found another company. I haven't seen the new breed yet but I anticipate they will be just as dumb. They are used for food deliveries.

How in the WORLD did you resist the temptation to simply drive over and squash every one of them?!?!

... The drones, not the students, just to be CRYSTAL clear....

I came close a couple of times but that got smart and went other way. Legally I feel I would be ok just because they were using an alley like it was a sidewalk.
Students make it hard sometimes, skateboards , scooters , bikes, phones, and walking under the trailer. Overall though they are aware and make room. Way smarter than the So called A.I.
