That's so true.

We have a McDee one mile from my house and I was coming home 2 days ago and the DIRTY GRIMY LOOKING GREY McDonalds looked JUST AWFUL. Like go eat there? What are they saying? Our food is like grey cardboard??? Bring the kids to the DUNGEN???

How in the world could McDonalds have ever painted their places from their old fun colors to DIRTY GRIMY LOOKING GREY?? Horrid.

I get McDonalds trying to look more grown up but why grey? Our Subway is the same color. We now live in a world where government buildings look more stylish than fast food places.

Sameness has become synonymous with safety and security. For 50-60 years now we’ve been buying our new homes where CC&R’s dictate the color of our interior window treatments and forbid parking in your own driveway and leaving your garage open. Just so everything looks just so in neighborhoods where nobody opens their blinds anyway? Eventually vanilla will be the surprise flavor of the month, every month, everywhere…
