Hi there,

Have a pair of Jamo Magic 8 on my "bench" and thought I would share some pics / info since i was not able to find much online about these guys. Enjoy.

Hi Joe, they are really nice speakers, i bought a pair on ebay, mint condition for their age. For their size they perform really well

Older but hardly ancient.

I've never heard a pair of Jamo speakers but have always wanted to. Years ago before he got a real job one of my brothers was a Jamo dealer. We lived a 1,000 or so miles a part so I never heard them then either. What a shame.

BTW Joe, how did those turn out. Do you still have them?

I found these locally, and they're not bad, but it seems there's no sound coming from the tweeters.
Woofers and mid work ok, and it doesn't sound like much roll off, but the tweeters are dead silent on both speakers. I connected the speaker cable directly with very low volume and they work, so maybe they are designed to work this way, or the tweeters caps have gone dry..
Is there any owner of Jamo Magic 8 around here?
