Rolled the dice and snagged a clean box of tapes. Half of them are dr demento shows! So excited!
The other dozen are recordings of the whbg jazz decades shows from the mid 80s. Are these of any value to anyone? I'm trying to keep a handle on my media collection so I'm looking to pass these on. I know the show ran for decades and had a hell of an audience. I just don't want to sell these as usable tapes if there is someone who wants the content. They're concertape 1800, so not top end tapes, but physically in great shape with clean boxes. None appear to have been recorded more than once. These were not random recordings, I think someone was archiving.
I'll dig out the rtr and play a couple to see how they sound.
