"Jazz" Guitarist Mundell Lowe passes away.

[OldPolishGuy]

Another one of the great guitarists leaves us. Passed away December 2, 2017; www.sandiegoreader.com/news/2017/dec/02/blurt-rip-mundell-lowe/#. Although Mundell Lowe wasn't a household name, most of us have probably heard his playing over the years and didn't know it. I think that Kenny Burrell may be the last of the breed still with us. Sad but he did leave behind a lot of great music. OPG.

Checked out some older videos. Skilled player with good bands.

I know who he was because of my Dad. He was as you say not a household name but guitarists knew who he was. At least old school players such as myself.
Sad to see so many of the older generation of extremely talented people passing away.
Thanks OPG for posting this.
