Speakers kick ass over 80% of everything else vintage. Your $300 cannot be better spent! The tweeters alone are worth $300.

The Seller has come down on the price, and although they need a refoam, he says they work fine, and he has the grills too....Are these 12" woofers? They are foam surrounds, right? Should hopefully be able to do something tonight....

No, they're 14" woofers. Yes, they have foam surrounds. If they're original surrounds, they are due to be replaced. Spiders more than likely should still be good.

Been trying to work a little bit better deal...Left a voice mail this AM, but no response so far...I'm playing hard to get... I was planning on going by after work, giving these things a listen, and prolly going home with them. Anyone know a source for inexpensive LE14 foams?

I bought mine from Orange County Speaker. They're the perfect fit for these. I wouldn't use anything else. Brad

If you really want something you've got to get there ASAP with $$$$ in hand and score the goods. People get too many calls, opinions, etc. Sometimes they're smart enough to start looking around. Then someone else ends up with the stuff. I hope that didn't happen here. Brad

As most people have found out, I'm not really in need of any more speakers at this point...... although I couldn't resist a pair of $20 Marantz Imperial 6G's a couple of days ago.....CL ad is still up though....

Sometimes we don't need speakers, but after they're cleaned up and working properly, you can flip them for an extra $500.00 or so.:yes: Brad
