I have a pair of JBL 2405 tweeters that will be installed in some custom cabinets and I need to replace both diaphragms as they are blown. Has anybody had any experience with replacement diaphragms in these. As I understand the originals had the voice coil mounted on an aluminum ring and some of the replacements offered are titanium. One seller offering aluminum states in his narrative that the titanium will give a "muddy undesirable sound". Any first hand experience or any known reference material to support or refute this claim ? Thanks for any and all info and opinions. Lane
