JBL 4310WX for $300?

Hey guys,
Haven't posted in (literally) years.
I have an opportunity to purchase a pair of JBL 4310 WX studio monitor speakers. They're asking $300.
Here's the classified ad:
For Sale: Pair of vintage JBL studio monitor speakers. They are in gently used condition, but overall great for their age (1971); some minor scuffs, but nothing some Old English couldn't help! These are a large, heavy pair of speakers.
I was considering offering $250. Worth it? Will my Marantz 2252B be enough to power them?

Yep, really cheap. Your Marantz will be fine. my L100s (same drivers) sound amazing with my much lower powered 2230.

$300 is a great price. Missing veneer is annoying but nothing a cherry touch up pen can't hide.

If those were in Chicagoland they'd be gone within 24 hours at that price, even with the veneer. A Marantz 2252B would have ample power to drive.
