Picked up a pair of JBL 4410 speakers for $200 at an estate sale. They are in excellent condition but as most vintage speakers need to be refoamed. I'm in the middle of the refoam task this afternoon. Can't wait to hear what they sound like!

I already have a pair of JBL 4311b speakers that I love It will be interesting to compare them.

Scroe! Well done. They should sound awesome. Ive been looking out for a pair. Always exciting refoaming speakers then firing them up for the first time. Let us know what you think. Ive also got 4311's.

Refoamed turned out great. I left the old dust caps on instead of removing them and using shins to preserve the original look. Test drive is with a Philips 784 receiver and a Pioneer PL-518. Sounding pretty nice so far! The speakers do not have a scratch on the and the protective plastic is still on the crossover panel.image.jpegimage.jpeg

My Pioneer SX-1010 is coming back from the shop tomorrow. Can't wait to hear the results with these speakers!

Got my SX-1010 back and it is up an running. Giving it a test drive right now.

The power seems to have woken up my Klipsch RF-5 speakers. And my new pair of JBL 4410 are sounding awesome with the SX-1010.

I also have a pair Pioneer CS-99a and JBL 4311b to try out with it too.

This is going to be hard decision on which speakers to keep and which to sell. I'll probably do as I usually do and keep them all and buy even more.

Good problem to have, right? :trebon:
