I have the opportunity to pick up a pair of 4639's with a tweeter (I think its the 4622 but I am not sure) for $400. The cabinets are in decent condition, but the seller said the drivers work and they look good from the pictures he has posted.

Does anyone know much about these? From some light googling I found that they are theater monitors, would anyone have any insight on how these would translate to a Hi-Fi setup? Any insight on these would be appreciated!

You can find quite a few threads at AVS forum where they are used for home theater. Very efficient but you will want a massive subwoofer or two for bass below 40-50 Hz (you can cheat some with DSP/EQ if you don't push them too hard below tuning or plug the ports). If you like it loud, they will get loud with modest power.
 
I use a pair in my setup. They like power and will get really loud. THey are also good for blocking windows!
