JBL 830 for $95

I have a shot at some JBL 830s and I can't find much about them on the net. Please note the model number is definitely 830, they are not the new L830s, about which there is much great abundance of information. Are these worth going for? Is $95 a fair price?

Are they tall and skinny, sorta like BA 100's?

i just gave away a pair of jbl830's. i also have a pair of the jbl jbl630's that i can't sell for the life of me lol. and yes they work fine it's just the grills mounting tabs are broke. i'd say $95 is high but thats just me.

I have a pair on loan to mt brother...its been a while since I gave them a dedicated ear but as I recall...they sound pretty nice. The 830's are tall, wide and shallow like the big Bostons.
