JBL C34 and Sansui 9090DB a good match?

Hello Friends:
I presently own a Sansui 9090DB 125 watts into 8 Ohm receiver. I currently have a set of Cerwin-Vega DX-9's hooked up to it and they are rated at 4 Ohms. Been good so far. I plan on building a set of JBL C34 speaker cabinets with JBL D-130 woofers, LE175 Potato Masher horns and N1200 crossovers. My problem has been that the most common JBL components I am finding are rated at 16 Ohms. Very little in 8 Ohms and nothing in 4 Ohms. I can probably find the D-130's and LE175's in 8 Ohms in time. But all the N1200 crossovers I am finding are 16 Ohms. My question is this....how much of a problem could I run into if I use 8 Ohm speakers, 16 Ohm crossovers while running this 8 Ohm Sansui? Or should I run 16 Ohm D-130's LE175's and N1200's and just leave it be? I really want the C34 speakers so I suppose I could find a matching 16 Ohm receiver or amp and preamp somewhere. Any thoughts on this would be greatly appreciated.

Hello,

When you plug components together with crossover, that change the impedance of overall finished product.

9090DB in my opinion will have no problem driving those speakers.

But don't plug two pairs of speakers, because 9090DB put them in series, 2 X 16 ohms in series = 32 ohms (normal is 8 ohms)

Your bigest concern is not the receiver / amplifier matching if you don't find the right drivers, but the fact that there is more of a crossover concern.

Making speakers crossover filters that matches with low freq. and high freq. transducers is an art.
