JBL crossover help

Need some suggestions on crossovers for a custom JBL speaker system I’m putting together.
I’ve got a minigon with 8 ohm le10a’s and le20’s.
I’m building a custom box to house some le14a’s, also 8 ohm to use for lower bass. I also was thinking of using some le175’s with mashers to cover some of the mid hi’s. Any thoughts or suggestions on crossovers ? Was hoping to use the minigon for highs and mid bass and the custom cabinet for low bass and mids .

Bi amp and use a digital mini processor as an electronic crossover, etc. SS Crown on the bottom. A SS Hafler or something tube for the top. Then you might want to add a super tweeter.

Hopefully you meant bass and mid-bass in one cabinet and mid + highs in the other. Otherwise you're switching cabinets twice along the audio spectrum.

And even if it's 'properly' sorted, a transition to a second cabinet when going from mid-bass to midrange in a 4-way system...yikes. Just building a 4-way crossover is tough enough. Unless you are already experienced at speaker design, this is a very complex project to start on.

I would consider 1) fewer drivers, 2) multi-amping as suggested - even an active crossover like a Behringer would help, but DSP is awesome (so I hear).

However, in order that you not go away empty handed, here's a suggestion: obtain T/S parameters for all the drivers in your selection. And impedance curves. You will need them for crossover design or if you go active, just for selecting crossover points.

I will be be using 4 tube mono blocks . Was hoping to use existing mix & match existing JBL crossovers which I already have sitting around . LX-5, N-2400, LX-5 , and LX8. I was wondering if anyone has done any experimenting with these different combos with any success . JBL suggestions differ quite a bit depending on publication .
