Hello guys,
Im on the other side of the pond and have picked up these L-99s the other day. The previous owner was just a reseller who picked them up at a flea market for 50 bucks; so Im trying to figure out as much as possible about them myself. The tweeter is the correct LE20-1 but has the front cover of the previous one, the LE-20. No clue why that was done, but Im ok with that.
What Im curious about is, whats going on with the LX4-1 crossover. Is that something that JBL did when restoring/fixing crossovers back in the day? They have the proper crossover name on there, but Ive never seen this kind of casting.
What am I looking at here? Any input is greatly appreciated.
