JBL L100 Century Speaker Grill Peg Hole Locations

Got a reasonably good deal on a pretty messed up pair of L100s. Drivers intact, sound okay. Came with burnt orange repro quad grills in reasonable enough shape to reuse..but a gluey mess and far from perfect. JBL name plates included, hang tags included, and repro foilcals. Cabinets were a mess - I re-veneered and Watco'd. Terrible black spray job - paint in the port and all over the baffling material inside. I repainted and laid in 2" polyfil. Worst of all, someone in the ownership chain decided to turn the grill frames into Swiss cheese. The peg holes on the grill frame do not line up with the peg holes on the face of the speakers. Only 2 pegs work at a time. So, is there anyone out there that has a template or measurements for exact hole locations. I'd like to fill and re-drill the grill frames? Here are the after pics.

You could put somthing centered in the holes that could mark the inside surface of the frame...maybe a piece of sharpened crayon so it barely protrudes from the hole, align it carefully and set it down firmly .on the crayon.

Or take carful measurements of the grill holes in cabinet and subtract the amount the cabinet is larger than the grill frame ?

Out of curiosity, how many holes do you have on the backside of the grill? Can you get a pic or 2?

I bought these new in '78, but they're L100a's. I assume they're the same. I have JBL replacement brown cloth because of the rotted foam. Done back in the early '80's when JBL figured they had a problem and would take care of them. Does yours still have the original black cloth on the inside like mine? Those are glue spots for the old foam. The extra hole on the upper left, you got me. Always been there.

I was always skeptical about that foam, so I always removed the grills when using them.
