JBL L100 Grill Template

I inherited my dad's JBL L100's And over the years I think dogs chewed away the foam and the front grills disappeared during a cross country move. I'm looking to see if anyone might have a template/measurements for the grill. Looking at replicating my own but I can't seem to find any concrete templates or measurements anywhere. Any leads would be amazingly appreciated.

It wasn't dogs, the foam deteriorated from age. Pretty much all L100s with foam grilles are like this. If you still have the grille frames, there are sellers on eBay who make new ones (search jbl l100 foam grille). But they are not cheap.

Actually I think we lost the foam to dogs in the 80s? I remember the frames in the garage. The speakers have been uncovered for a long time. Sadly I don't have the frames any more. They are now my art studio speakers and I'd love to get them some covers. Just trying to find maybe a template that someone has made from the original that I could CNC. I'm not looking for aesthetic authenticity at this point. Just trying to find a frame I can wrap some proper Audio Cloth around to cover up the speakers and grant them a modicum of protection.

As I wrote in one of your inquiries, either here or somewhere else, we don't know where you are or which L100s you have.
Are they original with in-line drivers, or later.
I acquired a later pair but my L100s are the first gen so I had to rebuild what I had. The later pair are around here somewhere most likely in need of work. So, essentially I have both types. If you live close by . . . :dunno:

I'm in Eastern, WA with a pair of these. The've definitely seen better days (that poor tweeter.) but still sound amazing. Just trying to find a way to cover/protect them from here on out.

These guys (Steve Barnes) make them and are great to deal with. Website says they are currently closed and won't open again until January!
Worth the wait, if you check the photos on their website.

They look great…though probably out of my price range. Which is why I’m trying to go the DIY direction. Still hunting for those templates

Hello. I just purchased a set of L-100A Century (2nd generation) with the clustered (black label, not in line ) speakers. Have the same issue as @getmorris, missing the wood frame, so need dimensions. Does anyone have a pattern or a drawing that I can use to cut replacements?

Where are you located? I'm not interested in preparing working drawings, but I'm happy to loan out the grilles I have.
