JBL L110 - Amplifirer HELP!!

Friends, please help.
I bought these speakers yesterday and need advice on choosing an amplifier. I currently have a Crimson 620, but it worked great with 4311 monitors. Combined with the L110, the sound is too closed, especially in the middle. There is no detail or width of the sound image. It sounds just like the curtains are in front of the speakers. I hope you understand me. I obviously need an amplifier that opens up the sound gives it details. My speakers cable is Oelbach Copler 4 squers
I would love and appreciate someone to help me with the choice of amplifier for my new speakers. My budget is up to 350-400 eur.

If these are older speakers they may benefit from some new capacitors in the crossovers. I can't say for sure but often people on here will describe speakers that are in need of new capacitors as sounding like thy have a curtain in front of them. So there is that.

It is a fairly easy process if you have some soldering skills. If these are 40 year old speakers then they may benefit from new capacitors in the crossovers.

I am not really aware of your Crimson 620. From a quick Google search it appears that it is an older "budget amplifier". Maybe a bit more power might be in order for those JBL's. Maybe someone else can chime in on that...

You might check the mid and high-frequency control dials on the front of the speaker. They can get corroded to the point of not passing signal to their respective drivers. Usually just moving the dial back and forth a few times will restore signal to that driver, and using something like DeoxIT spray on the dials would be even better. Either way, make sure each individual driver on each speaker is creating sound.

Also, the 4311 is known for it's rising mid-range response, in part due to the woofer being run full-range, meaning it's still contributing to the mid-range right alongside the actual mid-range driver. If you are directly comparing the 4311 to the L110, it might seem like the L110 is light on the midrange, but it's actually because the 4311 has too much.
