JBL L112 (or similar) vs Celestion Ditton's sound signature

Hello,
I guess this is a tricky question! but could anybody give me some hints about the difference in sound between Celestion Dittons and JBL L112 (or similar)?

I've compared side by side Monitor Audio BX2 and Wharfedale 122 and found both sound good but have different sound signatures. The Monitor Audio was clearer, more analytic (in a good way) while the Wharfedale was fuller with sightly recessed highs and a mild emphasis on mid frequencies. Could this comparison somehow be translated to JBL L112 vs Celestion Ditton?
Thanks in advance

I've owned L112s for nearly 40-years and I don't consider the 044 tweeter to be "bright". A 4412 might be considered bright with its titanium tweeter but the aluminized phenolic 044 sure isn't. :dunno:

Thanks for the answers, I just wanted to get a general idea as being able to test both side by side woud be quite unlikely
Bear in mind anyway I had a hard time trying to decide between the clearer (brighter) Monitor Audio and the softer Wharfedale! Both sound very good for their price/size, mid frequencies were still present in both (more so in the Wharfedale)... what I don't like is a mid scooped sound
