JBL L112 value?

Hey all,

I got a line on a pair of these with rotted surrounds but otherwise good shape. Prices appear to be ALL over the map. Some asking over 2k on eBay, some selling for $600. I know vintage JBL prices have kind of spiked in recent years, so older listings and discussions might not be applicable.

What would you all say is a fair price? Additionally, is this a particularly difficult woofer to refoam? I've done some Advent woofers easily.

I didn't think the refoam was too difficult on mine. It glues to the underside of the cone, which is generally easier in my opinion.

Recently sold average on eBay is a little over $1350. Local price should be less. Normally I'd say local price should be 50-75% of eBay sold price average, but rarity and desirability may keep these higher.

I have never heard of L112's that are not mirror imaged.
Would love to see pics.

4411 same speaker. Rarer than L112 and sells for less to boot.

Exactly. Both of my cabinets have the tweeter on the left side.
