JBL L15 refoam help

Hi everybody,

I recently got a pair of JBL L15 which I'm looking foward to setting up with a smaller system. I know they need a refoam and was hoping you could point me in the right direction. This will be my first refoam so I'll accept any tips.

the only foam I've found on ebay is:
http://cgi.ebay.com/JBL-L15-Speaker-Foam-Repair-Kit-L-15-Woofer-Refoam-Kit_W0QQitemZ380119669265QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item5880e5da11

Is this foam good? I like that I can get shipping directly to chile, and its also the only option I've found.

thanks!

+1 :) Very fast shipper and he sends you all you will need. I also found him to be the least expensive too.

I got a message back from RC he doesn't have the foam for my woofer.
should I just go back to the ebay ones or is there any other source

I PMed GordonW but haven't gotten a response yet. I guess I'll wait a while according to tracking my speakers should be arriving next week but I'm thinking of just getting the ebay ones when they arrive..

I finally refoamed my L15, it took a while for the foam to get here, and after that I moved to my new house and my wife had the baby. And on top of that the earthquake.
But since the earthquake I've been working at home and hat gave me my commute time back so I finished my first refoam.
I have to say I'm pretty happy with the speakers, I've been using them all day as my office speakers :music: :music:

I'll try to post some pictures with the results.
And now I'm looking for another pair of speakers to refoam....:D
