JBl L150 Project - Advice please....

I picked up a dead mint set of JBL L150s. The bad news is that none of the driver are OEM, except one mid.

I was thinking that maybe I could use the drivers from a set of l100t (HAVE 2 SETS)

Would the drivers from the l100t all work together in the l150?

Woofer - 128h
Mid - LE5-10
Tweeter - 033

Mid - 104h
Tweeter - 035ti

There Is No Reason To Ruin A Set Of L100T's That Are In Working Order. L100T's Have A Large Following And Can Resell For Some Nice Bucks If They Are In Good Condition. I Would Consider These Two Different Rebuild Projects So Restore Them Both Separately And Get Them As Close To Original OEM As Possible And You Could Possibly See Some $$$ Return For Your Efforts. Both The L150 And The L100T Have Different Design Parameters For The Cabinets. The L150 Has A Passive Radiator and The L100T Has A Port In The Back. If You Swap The Woofers Around Yes They Will Electrically Work But Acoustically They Will Not Sound Correct Because The Cabinets Are Tuned To Work Together With The Woofers To Bring Out The Best Sound. It May Take Some Time But Just Keep Your Eyes Peeled On eBay And Craigslist For The Correct L150 Drivers To Show Up. The L150 Has It's Own Sonic Signature And It Would Be Worth It To Take The Time To Get It Right.

definitely agreeing with soundofsound. Those L100 drivers wouldnt be the same as having the correct drivers. look around for the real drivers and you will be set!
