I bought a pair of those L200's last summer from a guy who purchased them in 1973. He even gave me the special oil that he used for the cabinets. They are in very nice condition, but I have them in the basement covered with a blanket.
Not even sure what I will do with them. I hooked them up one time for about 1 hour of listening and they were very solid, but not as "musical" as my Cornwall II's. I hooked them up to a Marantz 2270 that was very pleasant. Then to test a little more punch I went with a Yamaha pre-amp and a Adcom GFA-555. Again, very solid in the low end and crystal clear highs. Odd shaped buggers and hefty to move around, but glad to have a vintage pair of JBL's.
Best part... I spent less for them than when I filled up my truck for gas today!...About $1100 less than what this guy has them listed for.
