As others have said here: that is a no brainer and one hell of a steal. I'd love to hear what you think of them after you get them re-foamed/restored. And those glass tops are actually kind of cool! No coffee cup/beer can/plant vase stains for you! lolz I have to admit, Kenrick Sound on YouTube has made me a fan of the JBL sound. His modified JBL's are incredible IMO. If you want to pay someone to do it, post your location and I'm sure there will be an AKer nearby who can take care of the job for you.

If you wish to do it yourself and don't have any experience at it, first watch some YouTube videos and then buy a cheap pair of speakers at a thrift store to practice on.

Nice speakers! I sold my pair last spring (for more than 70 bucks) to fund my amp purchase. Great thing about scores like this is it's like putting 900.00 dollars in your pocket.

Also, on the refoam: make sure they are perfect and look original when done as it will increase the value of the speakers to a real JBL fan if you decide to sell them down the road.

I recommend that you get the woofers re-coned. I did that on my L65's. For what little you have into them now re-coning will make them sing.
