I just picked up a pair of L65 Jubals, with 126A woofers(need re-foaming/no problem there). I got ahold of X-over schematics, and I see that the L65A speaker uses a different design than the plain L65. So the "improved" woofer, the 122A, gets a different crossover design. That makes sense. The same mid and tweeter are used in both versions, but the L65A has more components, along with changes in some values, for the mids and highs. Question: Are all/some of these changes applicable to the older version, and are they a good idea, sound-wise? Amp is a modded Dynaco ST-70 (caps, Mullards etc) if that makes a difference.
