I need someone to tell me why I shouldn't get these.

I don't mind doing the refoam, and have been looking for a big set of speakers. So, what is the skinny on this model? The price sounds fair but it is just a guess on my part.
If one of you guys get to 'em first, that's cool because I have too many speakers already, but.....you know how it is.

I bet they get a little higher by the end. If they don't, I'd be amazed....and you'd be lucky!

Excellent speaks -- one of my favourite vintage speakers that I've ever listened to. Beautiful sound, superior finish all around, and very efficient -- doesn't take too many watts to get the SPL up. Still have a nice pair lurking in storage. Local pickup only should help the price -- buy 'em if you can. :thmbsp:
