I found these on Craigslist - London. I have no affiliation to these or this seller whatsoever, but in the interest of vintage and the great individuals who made them - respect.

JBL Olympus & Paragon - the Beasts.

JBL Paragon & Olympus

I was really seeing about value. I now see there are two Paragons there and was wondering about value. The Olympus is the more appealing on size, though the Paragon has history. What are the thoughts on value as I thought they were all cheapish, though unsure of costs in reconing etc.
Apologies if this is in the wrong place as I am new here and did read guidelines.

I know here in the states, Paragons can go for anywhere from $7000 ~ $25,000

JBL olympus are usually much less...$2,000-$5,000

Don't look legit to me with that price on it.. WAY too good to be true.. especially not in the states, it should have another 0 behind that price.. .

A person that has that and knows the name will surely know they should be getting 10 times that price in London..

That is NOT a correct Paragon. Even in that crappy low res pic there are multiple issues with that cabinet.

If the ad is legit, the item isn't.

And are those grills in the center where it should be all wood?

Yeah.. SOMETHING is real fishy there.. Wonder if it's some sort of DIY build? That could justify the cheap price then..
