JBL Radiance Series

I have the opportunity to pick up a pair of JBL Radiance Series speakers. One box has the serial number 215126.
They are very cheap. No idea of the condition of the interiors but the cabinets are structurally good but cosmetically average. No badges on the front grills.They have been in commercial storage for some time. Any ideas or comments. How do they compare with my AR 6's?

The JBL radiance series was an attempt to sell cheaper speakers than the L-series. Most audiophiles wouldn't want to own them. Keep in mind though that the first series, R-82, R-103, R-123, and R-133, have the LE25 tweeter. That's the same one used in many other JBLs of that period. So the tweeters sell well on ebay, if the condition is good.
 
Thanks for the advice. Can you tell me how to identify what series the speakers are? Also, how do you remove the front grills. Finally are the worth $US40 assuming the speakers are OK?
